TRADE TERMS & CONDITIONS
There is no minimum order or minimum monthly order required.
Price listing does not include shipping. If there is a price increase you will be notified upon ordering.
All orders are shipped UPS Ground within 48 states and UPS 2nd Day Air for Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. All oversized shipments will be shipped via freight company of our choice. If you would prefer we use your UPS shippers account, preferred carrier or freight line, prior arrangement must be made at the time of purchase.
We will drop ship our products for a small fee. Ask your Lighting Research Representative for details.
We accept advance wire transfers, prepaid checks, money order, bank certified check or cashiers check drawn on US currency. Company check is also acceptable upon verification of credit approval. Please check with your account representative prior to ordering. All NSF checks will be charged $25.00 for bank service fee.
All merchandise is sold ex-work which means that our responsibility ends after the goods leave our warehouse. Claims for lost or damaged goods must be made directly with the carrier. If you require insurance on the goods, please notify our account representative when ordering. All damaged merchandise must be reported to the carrier immediately upon receipt of goods. You will be required to provide a damage claim number or discrepancy report from the carrier prior to contacting your account representative within 48 hours. Lighting Research will not be responsible for any claim after 3 days upon receipt of goods. All shortages must be reported to Lighting Research or a Lighting Research Distributor within 24 hours of receipt.

Lighting Research will warranty all products from manufacturer defects in material and workmanship for (12 months) 1 Year from the date of purchase. Defective merchandise, proof of purchase, and RA# (return authorization number) are required. Lighting Research will not honor warranty arising from shipping damage, improper handling, or installation neglect or abuse. All defective merchandise will either be repaired or replaced at the discretion of a Lighting Research Representative upon receipt of the merchandise. NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT, EXCHANGE ONLY.
Lighting Research sells components which are intended for off-road use or show purposes only. Laws restricting the use of these parts vary from state-to-state. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of the laws in his or her area when using these products. Our products may not be suitable for regular driving condition for it is without DOT, SAE, or CARB Approval. User must follow the direction given and any misuse of these products is at the users risk. The manufacturer, distributor and retailer will not be held responsible for using them other than specified above. Due to limited space, the Website may NOT specify that a particular component is intended for "off-road" use.
All efforts have been made to avoid printing errors in our price list. However, we are not responsible for any specification, application, or pricing errors wherein.
