Payment

We accept all major creditcards, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover along with Paypal payments through the website. For other payment options please place your order by phone at 561-368-8383. Please tell them you are ordering from the Imports Tuning website.

Damaged Merchandise

All merchandise is sold ex-works which means that our responsibility ends after the goods leave our warehouse. Claims for lost or damaged goods must be made directly with the carrier. If you require insurance on the goods, please notify our account representative when ordering by phone. All damaged merchandise must be reported to the carrier immediately upon receipt of goods. You will be required to provide a damage claim number or discrepancy report from the carrier prior to contacting Imports Tuning within 48 hours.

Returns for Credit or Exchange

Lighting Research, Inc. will gladly accept returns for merchandise purchased directly from Lighting Research that meet the following conditions:

1) Merchandise must be returned in its original condition and received within 90 days of the original purchase date (invoice date). Orders returned beyond this time period will not be accepted. Lighting Research, Inc. reserves the right to refuse damaged or non-returnable merchandise. Receipt of a package does not signify acceptance for return.

2) Return merchandise should be packed in its original packaging (if in suitable condition) with the packing slip/invoice if possible and returned to the address on the order invoice. Items returned without documentation inside including name, address and reason for return will not be accepted.

All returned orders, except those that were incorrectly filled or found to be defective are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for us to process the return and issue a credit or provide an exchange.

We highly recommend return merchandise be shipped through UPS who will provide a tracking number and insurance automatically with each shipment. We cannot be responsive to your request without your return in hand.

Please Note: The shipping cost of any returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the customer, unless the merchandise is being returned because we incorrectly filled the order or the merchandise is defective.

Non-Received/Received Wrong Item

If your order was incomplete, or if you received something that you did not order, please contact us immediately. All claims for shortages and/or damages must be placed within ten days of receipt of merchandise. We will need to know what item(s) you received in error, if any and what item(s) were missing from your order. We will make all necessary arrangements to correct your order. All returned merchandise must be received by Lighting Research in the original packaging, unless the merchandise is found to be defective.

Disclaimer

Lighting Research sells some components which are intended for off-road use or show purposes only. Laws restricting the use of these parts vary from state-to-state. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of the laws in his or her area when using these products.

Some of our lighting products may not be suitable for regular driving condition for it is without DOT, SAE, or CARB approval. Users must follow the direction given and any misuse of these products is at the users risk. The manufacturer, distributor and retailer will not be held responsible for using them other then specified above. Due to limited space, the website may NOT specify that a particular component is intended for "off-road" use.
